
Kevin Taheri, MD
Dr. Kevin Taheri is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care for a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions. Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Dr. Taheri specializes in sinus disorders, allergy management and pediatric ENT care.
Dr. Taheri earned his undergraduate degree with university honors from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a graduate degree in pharmacology from Tulane University. He went on to complete his medical training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he conducted research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He then completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, gaining extensive experience in sinus surgery, allergy treatments and pediatric ENT care.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Taheri has presented at both local and national conferences. His work includes groundbreaking research on methicillin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) in pediatric neck infections, as well as innovations in minimally invasive balloon procedures for tear duct obstructions. He was also awarded by the Triological Society for developing a novel technique for non-surgical eardrum perforation repair.
Dr. Taheri is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He stays at the forefront of ENT advancements, ensuring his patients receive the most effective and up-to-date treatments available.
